amateur radio related...no flea market junk or large lots of
computer stuff!

HAMFEST POLICIES!

sq feet of under roof space, IN THE DRY
with spaces going at $10 each.
Each space is 10' X 20'. Furnish your own tables or tailgate!
(3) Open air tailgate spaces are $5 each for a regular car
parking space.
Reserve requests must be occupied by 7:00AM.
(4) If you need more than one space in either area, the cost
is rent times number of spaces.
Need 2 tailgate spaces? $5 x 2 = $10. Need 3 under roof
spaces? $10 x 3 = $30.

will pay your fees the morning of the hamfest.

Dealers/tailgaters
will be allowed in to setup Friday evening, and the gates will
open to buyers at 7:00AM on Saturday.
Breakfast will be ready to be sold at 6:30AM. Homemade goodies
and drinks will be availble throughout the morning.

There is one campground near the Hamfest site, Athens I-75
Campground. There are other campgrounds in the area, check
the Yellow Pages. There will be no camping at the hamfest
site.
AREA FUN THINGS TO DO
AND SEE
The Athens
Regional Park is very family friendly. There are
walking trails, and a LARGE playground in the park
for the kids! Bring the family and spend the
day!Bring the family and enjoy. The hamfest will
only last from 7:00AM- 12:00 Noon. The MCARC Ladies
Auxilary will have biscuits and drinks for sale for
breakfast when the hamfest opens, and there are too
many restaurants to count within 2 miles or less of
the hamfest. There is also 3 shopping centers within
2 miles of the hamfest! (LADIES, PAY ATTENTION!)
Athens, Tennessee is approximately a one hour drive
from Knoxville, Chattanooga, and the Smokies. There
are lot of things to do and see in the area.
In Athens:
Mayfield Dairy Farms
Living Heritage Museum
In Sweetwater:
Sweetwater Flea Market (one of Tennessee's largest!)
