*If you monitor our repeaters in analog and notice a bunch of static or garbled talk it's probably due to someone using the repeater in the digital mode.

To filter the "static noise" out set the tone mode to "tone sql" and you won't hear this noise but you will be able to see the signal on the radio and know digital side of the repeater is being used. If you have any questions be sure to ask on one of our nets or if you here some rag chewers.

MCARC is also active on packet frequency 145.550 MHz.
The club shack operates 24/7 as KG4FZR-10 WL2K RMS packet Server, MCARC digi, and KG4FZR-7 Node.
145.550 MHz serves as the TN Homeland Security District 3 packet frequency.

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT OUR DIGI!
THE KG4FZR-7 DIGI is a WIDEn-N/TNn-N digi & is a limited two-way IGATE.
IT ALSO GATES LOCAL SEVERE WEATHER RELATED DATA TO THE RF SIDE OF APRS.
WE HAVE AN APRS SECTION ON OUR WEBSITE IF YOU NEED SETUP HELP.

All MCARC repeaters are fully coordinated through the SOUTHEASTERN REPEATER ASSOCIATION, INC. (http://www.sera.org/)

Other 2m frequencies we use are 146.490 MHz, 146.520 MHz, and 146.580 MHz, all simplex.
