MCARC KG4FZR Club Shack
The McMinn County Amateur Radio Club, Inc operates under the
in memoriam call sign of KG4FZR.
This was the callsign of Past President, Life Member David Fridley.
The MCARC KG4FZR club shack is located at Athens City Hall.
The shack is capable of operating almost any band and any mode.
The main rigs are (2) Yaesu FT-8800R dual band radios, Yaesu FT-900AT
for HF,
ADI AR147+ & Kantronics Packet Communicator 3 TNC for APRS.
Emergency power is provided by the Athens City Generator System.
Antennas are 3 dual band verticals and an 80M dipole.
